As a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you’ll be the go-to expert for analyzing complex supply chain data sets to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend actionable insights that improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large supply chain datasets (inventory, transportation, procurement)
- Develop predictive models and forecasting tools to optimize inventory and reduce stockouts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into process improvements
- Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Monitor KPIs and identify areas of risk or inefficiency in the supply chain
- Support implementation of data-driven supply chain strategies and software
Required Experience
- 3+ years in data analysis within supply chain or logistics environments
- Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and BI visualization tools
- Experience with supply chain management software (SAP, Oracle, JDA, etc.)
- Strong statistical and predictive modeling skills
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
