Our client, Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster (OAL), is seeking a dedicated Head Athletic Trainer to join their team at Palmyra Area High School. This opportunity is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus!

Privately owned by their surgeons and supported by 400+ employees, OAL operates outpatient orthopedic surgery centers at Lancaster and Lebanon campuses, performing a wide range of surgeries, including total joint replacements, using the most advanced techniques.
Role Summary:The Head Athletic Trainer works with athletes of all ages to prevent, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal injuries. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals when advanced care, such as surgery or MRIs, is needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote the mission and values of OAL.
Provide services aimed at increasing functional independence, reducing limitations, and preventing injuries.
Evaluate, manage, and treat injuries in collaboration with physicians.
Educate athletes on injury prevention, conditioning, and rehabilitation.
Document assessments, treatments, and treatment plans.
Maintain clean and organized treatment areas.
Provide emergency care within the scope of athletic training.
Communicate effectively with athletes, families, physicians, and coaches.
Participate in professional development and maintain professional affiliations.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a CAATE-accredited university athletic training program.
Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine licensure.
Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.
State-required clearances.
1–2 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
