We’re partnering with a leading logistics firm in Portland to find a Supply Chain Optimization Specialist. You’ll focus on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing end-to-end supply chain visibility using data-driven methods and cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze supply chain processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Develop and implement optimization strategies across procurement, warehousing, and distribution
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate supply chain software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP)
- Monitor KPIs and generate actionable insights to improve service levels and reduce costs
- Support supplier relationship management and contract negotiations
- Lead cross-functional projects to streamline inventory management and logistics operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 3+ years experience in supply chain optimization or logistics analysis
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with supply chain management software and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Lean Six Sigma or APICS certification is a plus
