A dynamic manufacturing company based in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead their finance team. The Finance Director will oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and strategic initiatives to drive business growth and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities of the role
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support company objectives and growth plans.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to provide accurate and timely insights to executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee cash flow management, financial risk assessment, and capital allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and HR to align financial goals with business needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar senior finance leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in ERP and financial management software.
