Job Description

Are you a precise, field-savvy Surveyor with a passion for shaping fast-growing urban landscapes? We’re looking for a Land Surveying Specialist to support large-scale commercial and mixed-use developments throughout the Austin metro area.



What You’ll Do


- Conduct boundary, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS surveys for development projects

- Operate GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors in the field

- Interpret construction drawings and legal land records for accurate mapping

- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and permitting teams to ensure project accuracy

- Prepare plats, legal descriptions, and CAD files for submittals and approvals

- Maintain survey records in compliance with TSPS and Texas Board of Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors standards



What You Bring


- 3–5+ years of experience in land surveying (field & office)

- Proficiency in Trimble, Leica, or similar surveying equipment

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS software, and data processing tools

- Familiarity with Texas land use laws, easements, and subdivision regulations

- LSIT certification preferred; RPLS license a strong plus (or in progress)



Nice to Have


- Experience working on large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects

- Strong project management and permitting background

- FAA drone mapping experience
